| The
Robert Jeffrey Band crosses the boundaries of Americana Music and Adult
Alternative Music, has definite influences from Country Music, and is
reminiscent of the great Classic Rock of the seventies. Robert Jeffrey Carothers is the lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter. Band members include Robert's wife and songwriting partner Deborah Carothers on vocals, Robert's brothers, Jack Carothers on keyboards and Chris Carothers on drums, their father B.J. Carothers on bass and friend Mark Huff on congas and percussion. Since the mid-sixties this band of veteran musicians has played on hundreds of stages from coast to coast. They have shared the stage with diverse national acts such as Poco, Brownsville Station, Wet Willie, Judas Priest, Conway Twitty, Patti Smith, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Melanie, and the Michael Stanley Band. |
The
Robert Jeffrey Band will be one of the featured acts at this year's
Harvest Music Festival. This is a "by invitation" event
and will be held the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, September 5, 2004.
