Harvest Audio Recording and Music Production

Why do musicians and singers travel from Ohio, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Tennessee, California, New York, Michigan, to record at Harvest Recording in Streetsboro, Ohio? Perhaps one reason is
because of Harvest’s reputation for excellent quality in recording and production of music for award-winning bands.

Located within minutes of Cleveland and Akron, in a beautifully renovated timber-frame barn in the rural setting of Streetsboro, Ohio, Harvest Audio Recording and Music Production is a state-of-the-art digital and analog recording studio and music production facility. The recording studio is equipped with a ProTools set-up, a Yamaha concert grand piano, Sonor drums, vintage amplifiers, 12' vaulted ceilings, comfortable atmosphere, in-house musicians and
songwriters, etc. for “the perfect mix” of creativity and technology. The chief engineer and music producer is Robert Carothers. Current rates are $50/hour.

Harvest also offers CD duplication packages for large or small quantities, complete with professional and creative graphic art services, at competitive prices.

The services of a music producer and studio musicians are available for singers who do not have their own band. The music producer assists the singer in selecting material that will display the strengths of the singer’s abilities, works with the singer to get an effective vocal track, hires the musicians to perform the music, and oversees the final mixing and mastering of the recording. The final product is a professional recording that can be presented to music industry professionals as a demonstration of the artist’s potential.

The cost for these services is usually priced by the song and depends upon the complexity of the production required. Call for a quotation.

The music producer’s services are also available for songwriters who would like to have a professional recording of their songs. Harvest Recording can supply vocalists and musicians of diverse musical styles to perform on the recording of the song. If only lyrics have been written, an in-house songwriter can set the words to a melody. Songwriters may also contact the Songfield Publishing division of Harvest Enterprises for help in placing their songs with artists.

Artists who record at Harvest Recording are eligible for an interview on the Roadside Radio hour, placement of the artist’s CDs on the internet-based Roadside Record store, and participation in annual concerts sponsored by Harvest Recording. Artists can also obtain assistance in promoting their music by contacting the Grass Roots Radio Campaign division of Roadside Radio.

Harvest Recording also offers a 10 week recording workshop for instruction in
recording engineering and music production. In addition, Harvest offers music instruction in guitar and music theory. For info on music instruction

Accommodations are available for out-of-towners. The Harvest Recording Studio is located between Cleveland and Akron, Ohio, convenient to nearby outlet mall shopping, restaurants, hotels and the Geauga Lake amusement park. The nearest airports are Cleveland Hopkins Airport and the Akron-Canton airport.
