Key Individuals

Robert and Deborah Carothers are the founders of Carothers Music Enterprises.

Robert Carothers is seasoned professional musician and a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Artists.  He graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Engineering.  With many years of experience in his field, Robert is an accomplished music arranger, producer and recording engineer.  He also wrote and developed the music technology program for Cuyahoga community College and served as a member of their music faculty of five years.  In addition to writing, recording and producing music Robert plays guitar, saxophone, flute and piano.  He has had the privilege of working with and appearing on stage with nationally-acclaimed and award winning artists.  Robert is the lead singer and lead guitarist of The Robert Jeffrey Band.

Deborah Carothers is Robert's wife, singing partner, songwriting collaborator, and fellow member of the Robert Jeffrey Band.  She graduated from Kent State University and has a juris doctorate from the University of Akron.  In addition to working as a musician for many years, Deborah has also worked as a business systems analyst, portfolio analyst and business manager and attorney.

Recently joining Robert and Deborah Carothers is Robert's brother Jack Carothers who is a member of the management team of Roadside Records, Roadside Radio and The Robert Jeffrey entities.  Jack is a veteran musician who is also the keyboardist for the Robert Jeffrey Band.  A graduate of Kent State University, Jack has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Ashland University and another Master's degree in Management Information Systems from George Mason University.  Jack has had extensive business experience as a manager and director with two fortune five-hundred companies and currently the General Manager of a multi-million dollar international manufacturing company.

Roadside Records, an independent record company dedicated to promoting the music of unsigned artists through an internet record store, radio promotion campaign, and internet radio program.

Harvest Recording, a full-service audio recording studio and music production facility dedicated to achieving excellence in the professional audio recording of music.

Roadside Radio is a music promotion service for musicians who are interested in having their music receive radio airplay through a grass roots radio campaign and participation in a web cast interview for the Roadside Radio show, an internet-based radio program.
